I offer office hours Monday through Friday. Early mornings and evenings are available to accommodate school and work schedules.
Availability
Fees will be discussed during our initial consultation. For patients with financial need, I offer a limited number of spots in my practice to patients on a sliding scale.
You can expect to be billed on a weekly basis for your sessions. Payments accepted by Zelle, HSA/FSA cards, all major credit cards, cash, or check.
Fees
I am an out-of-network provider. If you have out-of-network benefits, my billing service will prepare “superbills” (statements for insurance reimbursement that include all necessary information on them) and will send them to you via e-mail every month. You can submit these superbills to your insurance company, and the insurance company will send you payments. Patients are responsible for the full session fee at the time of session.
I would be happy to guide you through the process of checking your out-of-network benefits with my practice during our initial consultation.
You can also contact your insurance company directly. In order to find out more about your mental health benefits, call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask the following questions to the customer service representative:
1. Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health? If NO, you are responsible for the full session fee. If YES, go on to ask the questions that follow.
2. What is my deductible for out-of-network mental health services?
3. How much of this amount have I met so far for this year?
4. What is the percentage covered per therapy session?
If you are asked for a CPT code, you can use 90834 (individual psychotherapy) as an example. I hope this section is helpful for answering your insurance related questions. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any specific questions you might have on this subject.
Insurance Coverage
Please allow at least 24-hours for cancelling a session. You are responsible for the full session fee if you cancel within 24-hours of the scheduled session time or do not show to session.

You can expect the following steps as we get started:
Free 15-minute phone consultation
Schedule by phone or through website for first appointment
First several appointments will focus on my getting to know you, your background, and why you are coming to therapy at this time
I will present you with an overview:
What I believe will be the focus of our work (may involve helping you understand your diagnosis);
An estimated timeline of our therapy;
For family and/or child therapy, a plan for how to organize our sessions and who will be present for sessions (e.g., sessions with child only, parent sessions separately 2x/month)
